Proceedings have been assembled as a record of the workshop, for participants and other interested scientists. They include contributions from the participants, which reflect the talks and discussion at the workshop. The formats of contributions were left to the contributors, to minimize overhead. The Workshop Proceedings book is  a A4-sized paperback volume in the "MPE-Report" series, Issue No. 274,   ISSN 0178-0719. It should be referenced as "Proceedings 'Astronomy with Radioactivities', edited by R. Diehl and D. Hartmann, December 1999, MPE Report No. 274". Distribution of the printed copies was done in March 2000.
